Steve Hoffman
President
Steve Hoffman is President of Fortinet Federal, Inc. (FFI) where he leads a team of engineering, business development, sales, and systems support professionals. He assumed the FFI leadership role to expand the team and enhance the critically important support Fortinet Federal delivers to public sector cybersecurity and network operations initiatives. With an emphasis on helping agencies identify, mitigate, and prevent malicious attacks on their data, networks, and operational environments, Steve and FFI are dedicated to delivering proven cybersecurity and networking solutions to the U.S. Federal Government. As a seasoned professional with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland and more than 25 years of business and technology experience, Steve has held executive leadership roles of increasing responsibility with industry-leading firms such as Cisco, Palo Alto Networks and HP Security. He continues to focus on meeting the advanced mission and security requirements of Civilian, Defense, and Intelligence Community agencies.

Felipe Fernandez
Chief Technology Officer
Felipe Fernandez is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Fortinet Federal, Inc (FFI). With more than 20 years of networking and cybersecurity experience, Felipe leads a team of security architects and engineers to provide mission-critical cybersecurity solutions for Federal Civilian, Department of Defense, and Intelligence Community applications. In addition to his role as a team leader, Felipe also oversees the U.S. Federal product strategy and certification process for the Department of Defense Information Network Approved Products List (DoDIN APL) and the National Security Agency’s Commercial Solutions for Classified (NSA CSfC) program. Prior to joining Fortinet, Felipe served for 12 years with U.S. Marine Corps as a Cyber Security Engineer.

John Little
Facility Security and Federal Compliance Officer
As Federal Security Officer and Federal Compliance Officer, John is responsible for Fortinet Federal security operations. He has more than 15 years’ IT experience and leads the secure support for U.S. Government and critical infrastructure organizations that employ Fortinet Federal solutions. John’s leadership and expertise focus on cybersecurity, information security, facility security, FOCI mitigation, and compliance. Previously, John was Director of Fortinet Federal Business Development, and served as the company’s Subject Matter Expert on Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) and Supply Chain Security. Prior to Fortinet, he directed Federal Business Development and Program Management with Animetrics and led sales and marketing initiatives for Atlas Devices and iRobot. John earned a Bachelor of Arts in Logistics and Transportation from the College of Business at Northeastern University. He studied at the Graduate School of Business at New Hampshire College, and attended an executive course on Cybersecurity, Technology, Application, and Policy hosted by MIT’s Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory.

Jim Harrison
Area Vice President, Civilian Agencies, Carriers and Service Providers
Jim Harrison is a creative and energetic leader of the Fortinet Federal team dedicated to advancing the cybersecurity missions of U.S. Civilian agencies. Given his professional background and expertise, he also manages trusted telecommunications programs and service providers focused on the Federal sector. Jim has held positions of increasing responsibility with Fortinet for more than ten years and he brings commitment and a wealth of sales, management, and problem-solving experience to government customers and Fortinet Federal strategic partnerships. Prior to Fortinet, Jim gained an in-depth knowledge of successful Federal technology integration as Director of Civilian Federal Markets with AT&T, Global Sales Director with Lucent Technologies, and Mid-Atlantic Sales Director with Siemens A.G. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Master of Science in Technology Management from the University of Maryland and is an active participant in several Federal technology organizations.

Shelia Reagan
Senior Director, Channels and Distribution
As Senior Director of Federal Channels and Distribution, Sheila Reagan focuses on establishing and maintaining strategic business relationships for Fortinet Federal, Inc. (FFI) with key channel partners providing technology solutions to the U.S. Federal Government. For the past three years, she has developed strategic partnerships with a range of partners, including Federal Systems Integrators, VARs, Managed Service Providers, and Distributors and positioned Fortinet Federal as a trusted cybersecurity partner. Sheila has a proven record for building successful partnerships with firms actively supporting U.S. Federal customers and their missions, with a primary focus on the channel and distribution community. Prior to FFI, she applied her experience to develop diverse Federal business opportunities with several recognized cybersecurity and networking companies.

Shelly Scarpelli
Senior Director, Marketing and Communications
Shelly Scarpelli is the Senior Director of Marketing for Fortinet Federal Inc. (FFI) where she has managed marketing and public relations since 2017. She plans and executes marketing programs designed to support new business development and continuing customer satisfaction. In this role, Shelly collaborates with public sector media, partners, and marketing service providers to create content for web and online communications, public sector events, and other targeted outreach. Prior to Fortinet Federal, Shelly was a Senior Marketing Manager for more than 12 years with Juniper Networks where she managed public sector marketing programs focused on the U.S. Defense, Intelligence, and Civilian sectors. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bowling Green State University and is an active participant and mentor in the Federal Marketing community.

Mark Wiggins
Director, Defense, Intelligence Community and Systems Integrators
Mark Wiggins directs the Fortinet Federal teams supporting the U.S. Department of Defense, the Intelligence Community and Federal Systems Integrators. He has more than 18 years of experience as a major account manager and business development director with a primary focus on evolving cybersecurity and network defense solutions for the DoD, Intelligence Community, and numerous Civilian agencies. Before joining Fortinet in 2018, he managed DoD business development with Juniper Networks addressing secure enterprise and tactical networks. Prior to that assignment, Mark supported maritime and secure satellite communications systems with Inmarsat Government and Segovia. Following graduation from the United States Naval Academy, Mark served in the U.S. Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer.

Lee Moser
Director, Carriers and Service Providers, Fortinet Federal
Lee Moser is a seasoned sales and business development professional leading Fortinet Federal’s Carrier and Service Provider team. She has a demonstrated track record of leading large-scale new business initiatives, from opportunity assessment to bid development through successful contract negotiation. As part of the Fortinet Federal leadership team, Ms. Moser brings her extensive background in delivering complex solutions and services to government and commercial enterprises. Prior to Fortinet, Ms. Moser held business and program management positions with industry-leading firms, including 3M Cogent, NEC, and VIDAR Systems. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Auburn University and a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Information Technology and Marketing from Marymount University.

Janet Silverman
Director, Human Resources and Talent Acquisition
Janet Silverman is the Fortinet Federal Human Resources and Talent Acquisition Director who manages staff recruitment, onboarding, and retention. In this role, she also advises and partners with Fortinet Federal executive leadership on personnel-related matters including HR policy, compensation, and benefits administration. Janet has diverse employment experience, including roles as HR Business Partner and Recruiting Manager with OPAQ, HR Operations Analyst with CA Technologies, HR and Recruiting Coordinator with Xceedium, and Administrative Support Manager with Preferred Systems Solutions. As a Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) she has served as Co-Vice President of Certification and she is a Voting Board Member of SHRM’s Northern Virginia Chapter, helping colleagues prepare for professional HR certification.

Brian Fox
Director, Operations
A 30-year veteran of the Federal technology market with broad experience in field operations and sales, Brian Fox provides management oversight across the full spectrum of Fortinet Federal operations. His responsibilities include FFI business development, implementation of sales and lead management systems, and a diverse range of transformation programs to support the establishment and growth of Fortinet Federal. His expertise includes providing solutions development, product portfolio management, and marketing strategies while successfully managing field operations teams. Brian’s work experience includes working with product and integrator companies including Micro Focus Government Solutions, HP Enterprise Security, and IBM, as well as selected smaller Federal IT firms, Fortify and Serena Software. A U.S. Army veteran, Brian lends his customer support experience to the collective Fortinet Federal effort to ensure trusted operations for U.S. Government IT environments.

Rolando Rivera
Controller
As Fortinet Federal Controller, Rolando Rivera oversees the company’s financial systems, performance, and operations, including accounting, budgeting, audit, and compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. He guides the financial policies and procedures necessary to maintain compliance with Securities and Exchange Commission reporting and other relevant Fortinet Federal agreements with the U.S. Government. With more than 30-years’ of experience in the Federal technology market, Rolando has held senior fiscal management positions throughout his career, from accountant to financial analyst to controller. Previously, he served as controller with Onyx Government Services, Xceedium, and Rivermine Software, and he held professional financial positions with American Systems Corporation, SERCO, Freddie Mac, and GTE Government Systems. Rolando earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland at College Park.
